As summer officially begins, my thoughts immediately turn longingly to autumn. While many are reveling in the longer days, basking in sunshine, sitting beside a pool or a lake, I’m counting the days until I can wear my sweaters again, make big batches of chili and add pumpkin spice to anything and everything (including chili). Whether you are “Team Summer” or “Team Fall,” everyone who works in fundraising should agree it’s not too early to begin planning your fourth quarter year-end marketing campaign because every dollar is precious these days. With that in mind, we’ve dedicated our June issue to helping you get started.
